Dr. Gabriel Rogers is the founder and pastor of Kingdom Christian Church located in Charlotte, NC. He was born in Middletown, Connecticut in a loving and stable Christian home. He is the youngest of four sons. He trusted in Jesus Christ as his personal Savior when he was 11 years old. Dr. Rogers is a devoted husband to Lady Stephanie Rogers and is the proud father of one beautiful daughter, Lauren. Dr. Rogers and his wife are expecting their second child, a son, January 2011.

Dr. Rogers graduated cum laude from Johnson C. Smith University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He graduated with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he received both a M.A. and Ph.D. in Counseling. Currently, he is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice at The Angel Gabriel Company, a family owned business, where he provides individual, couples and family therapy. He is also employed as the Clinical Coordinator with Carolinas HealthCare System EAP in Charlotte, NC. He is the Vice Chair of the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, serves on the Advisory Committee of Carolinas HealthCare System Pastoral Care Division and is an adjunct professor at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in the Department of Counseling and Psychology. He is also an accomplished pianist and former minister of music.

Dr. Rogers is an ordained elder and esteems his greatest accomplishment as the day he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. God has anointed Dr. Rogers to preach His Word with power, authority and clarity and to shepherd His people with love and compassion. Finally, Dr. Rogers is passionate about helping people and seeing them reach their maximum potential in God.
