Born in Middletown, Connecticut, Dr. Gabriel Rogers is the founder and pastor of Kingdom Christian Church located in Charlotte, NC. He is a devoted husband to Mrs. Stephanie Rogers and is the proud father of one beautiful daughter, Lauren and three handsome sons, Gabriel Jr., Christian and Stephen.

Pastor Rogers graduated cum laude from Johnson C. Smith University where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He graduated with highest honors from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte where he received both a M.A. and Ph.D. in Counseling. He formerly served as a Clinical Coordinator for Carolinas Healthcare System, where he provided supervision for mental health clinicians. He is the former Vice Chair of the North Carolina Board of Licensed Professional Counselors, has served on the Advisory Committee of Carolinas HealthCare System Pastoral Care Division and has worked as an adjunct professor at Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary in the Department of Counseling and Psychology, the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the Department of Counseling and Wingate University, teaching Psychology and research courses. Dr. Rogers has also served as a therapist for the NFL through their Players Assistance Program, where he has provided counseling and training services for athletes, coaches and administrative staff. Currently, he is a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice at The Angel Gabriel Company, PLLC, a family owned business, where he provides individual, couples and family therapy.

Dr. Rogers also has extensive experience in real estate and is a licensed broker in the states of North and South Carolina. He is also an author whose books include the newly released Getting Free and Staying Free.

Dr. Rogers esteems his greatest accomplishment as the day he accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and it was in that moment that his life forever changed, for the better. Deeply committed to the Great Commission, he is a passionate soul winner and has placed strong emphasis on evangelism within our church. Dr. Rogers pastors according to the standards set forth in Titus 1:6 – 9. He is passionate about helping people and seeing them reach their maximum potential in Christ.
